Scontento e deluso per le prestazioni deludenti nel 2012, condizionate da una condizione fisica mai al massimo, il pilota britannico convinto dal suo amico Paul Edmondson si presenta da privato nel 2013, iscritto nella E2 al EWC 2013 e partecipa a tutte le tappe del campionato FIM superenduro, 3^ classificato in Polonia alle spalle di Blazusiak e Walker.

The famous Isle of Man giant already had a new project in his mind, with long-time friend and multiple Enduro World Champion Paul EDMONDSON!
Less than a month later, David KNIGHT announced via his own Twitter account that he would be riding for his own new private team, managed by EDMONDSON on Honda CRF450’s. The Isle of Man rider also confirmed that he would be competing in the E2 class of the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship, riding at the X-Games in the USA and also competing in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship!
‘KNIGHTER’ will be present at the Atlas Arena in Lodz (Poland) for the opening round of the championship on Saturday December 8th
It seems that the very first SuperEnduro Champion (2008) is still hungry for victory and that he wants to challenge Taddy BLAZUSIAK who has dominated the series for the past 3 seasons…
‘KNIGHTER’ said “I know Taddy BLAZUSIAK will be fast. He’s just won the AMA EnduroCross series in the USA and is feeling race sharp. To beat him is a tall order but this is SuperEnduro and anything can happen – mistakes are common! Realistically, I’m just going there to have fun and learn more about my new bike.”
