CHEMILLE-SUR-INDROIS - DAY 1

Superb work by the Moto Club of the Pyramids for the organization of the second round of the Championship of France Enduro 24MX. The task has not been easy. A big storm broke out during the night accompanied by heavy rain, which forced them to amputate the circuit impassable certain portions, including the Special online. A necessary evil, the race was able to take place in very good conditions and mass from spectators could enjoy the best of the show, all under one sun returned.

On the pitch, despite a total of 6 lap times against the usual 9, lived an intense race with surprises. Junior particular category that sees a change of leader with victory Quentin Delhaye Maulde and the against-performance Kirian Mirabet. In E1, Julien Gauthier wins in extremis face a found Marc Bourgeois. Still a big fight in E2 which ended with the victory of Loic Larrieu. Finally, victory of Antoine Basset E3, which will raise in the title race.

E1 CATEGORY

Marc Bourgeois (Yamaha) had experienced a difficult weekend in Saint-Palais, but failed to reach the podium. Defending champion recovers the bar now leading most of the day. With nearly 10 seconds ahead at the start of the last lap, it was unclear how victory could escape.

Did not count on the aggressiveness of Julien Gauthier. The Yamaha-B2R pilot resumes Bourgeois 10 seconds in the last lap and took his victory. it confirms its very good start to the season and strengthened its leading position in the interim.

Marc Bourgeois, second, pay a final round below capacity, but still came up big in the interim. It is third and takes points to Boucardey.

Winning the 3rd place has just been a mano a mano between lozérien Romain Boucardey (Yamaha - Ridercamp) and Nicolas Deparrois (Husqvarna - Atomic Moto). A duel that will not go through. Deparrois being forced to retire on the last lap is Boucardey taking the remaining podium spot.

Note the return to power of Jérémy Carpentier (Honda-EC2M) despite a hand injury, made his comeback in the E1 category. He finished in 5th place.

E1 RANKING

-1 / Julien Gauthier

- 2 / Marc Bourgeois

- 3 / Romain Boucardey

E2 CATEGORY

Still many unresolved in the E2 class, where again it was not until the very last lap to know the winner. And this is the Yamaha-Outsiders Loïc Larrieu driver that doing better. He accused a 4-second delay at the entrance to the final stage, with focus Jérémy Tarroux (Sherco) who led much of the day. A goal that likely has on-motivated Larrieu who signs an explosive time in the last special. It takes 6 seconds and wins the day before Tarroux.

Behind them, Mathias Bellino (Husqvarna), despite the stage victory, never managed to take the pace of the two predecessors. No, however the temporary disaster since all three remain in a handkerchief. Only five points separate them.

E2 RANKING

- 1 / Loïc Larrieu

- 2 / Jeremy Tarroux

- 3 / Mathias Bellino

CATEGORY E3

E3 was the scene of the battle expected between the two KTM riders Jeremy Joly and Antoine Basset. This is Joly, leader of the category after his brace in Saint-Palais, who began the day in the lead by winning the first special. A gap of three seconds faster weakened by the attack of a Basset in top form. It remakes his delay in mid-race but sees again Joly take back the 3 seconds after the second round.

Finally, Basset takes him six seconds in the last lap and his first victory of the season. Joly, second, retains the leadership of the championship but saw his lead reduced to 5 points.

Behind them, we find Romain Dumontier (Yamaha) made a regular race and climbed onto the third step, managing to hold off the Auvergne Manu Albepart (BETA), fourth tonight.

RANKING E3

- 1 / Antoine Basset

- 2 / Jeremy Joly

- 3 / Romain Dumontier

JUNIOR CLASS

The Spanish rider Kirian Mirabet (Sherco Academy) had impressed during the first race of the season, by its speed and ease. There it was established as the logical favorite in the Junior category. Only in Enduro, and especially Junior, nothing is written in advance and Spanish stumbled today in these special conditions. It ranks only 7th.

The cards are folded and it was right tonight to an unprecedented podium, with its top driver Quentin TM Delhaye Maulde. The young Auvergne is needed to Anthony Geslin (EEAT - Yamaha) in the last time and offers the TM Racing team its first win in Junior. Geslin is second, as in Saint-Palais, and headed the interim.

Valerian DEBAUD (Yamaha - Dumontier Racing) had a strong race. After being awarded the first special, he manages to keep a steady pace and completed the podium of the day, it is the third.

JUNIOR RANKINGS

TROPHY ELITE MORACO

The special line was canceled, no trophy ranking MORACO today. If weather conditions permit, the race for the trophy being conducted by Loïc Larrieu resume tomorrow.

The weather is very stormy tonight in Chemillé, and it is not on the sun is again at the rendezvous, which could further complicate the race a bit and enjoy the opportunists.
