NATTERJACK ENDURO 19-20 SEP 2015 FINAL INSTRUCTIONS
General

1.   Riders should familiarise themselves with the Enduro Standing Regulations as set out in the ACU Handbook 2015.  The event will be run under these standing regulations and these supplementary final instructions.
Start area and camping
2.   The start area will be at Longmoor Airfield, Bordon. The event will start and finish at the Airstrip, Weavers Down, Longmoor, Hants. (OS Sheet 186, Grid Ref
805313). The start area will be signed from the Griggs Green turning off the A3 between Liphook and Petersfield. All traffic must follow the signed route in and out. No access will be permitted through Longmoor Camp.

3.   The start area will be available from 1500 Thursday, there will be no vehicular access to the site between 2330 and 0730 each night. Any access between these hours will be at the discretion of the organiser. Those requiring exit from the site will need to be escorted by an organiser during these times. This is for the security of the area.
4.   This is an MOD training area, no pyrotechnics, crow scares fireworks and bonfires allowed. Riding within the start/camp area is not permitted.
5.   There is no fresh water bowser available, please provision enough water for the duration of your stay.
Start times
6.   The first rider will be away at 0901 both days, riders will start 3 a minute.
Numbers and Backgrounds
7.   These will NOT be supplied by the organiser, Sponsors stickers will be provided that must be fitted to all three number boards above the numbers. These must not be covered or removed penalty for this is disqualification. Number plates must be the correct colour as per ACU Handbook.
Scrutineering and Signing on
8.   This will take place between 1500-1900 on Friday 18 Sep.
9.   Tyres must comply with FIM/ACU Enduro regulations.
10.   Motorcycles must comply with ESr 7. A VRN/number plate is not required.
11.   Transponders will be provided for the event for special test timing, a security deposit/ACU licence must be left with the timekeeper and refunded on return.
12.   Competition Licences /photographic ID must be presented at signing on. Riders must hold a current ACU or SACU licence, Riders from other federations must produce a licence and start permission confirming insurance from their FMN. UK riders who do not have ACU licence will have the opportunity to purchase a one event licence at a cost of £15.00.  International riders rider can purchase a one event licence and insurance 

Service Areas
13.   Two service areas will be in use; the main service area at the start and finish and a second near the MX test. There is no vehicular access to the second service area, a trailer will be provided to transport fuel. Both service areas may be assisted in accordance with ESr 35.
14.   Refuelling must be carried out on environmental mats and all crews to carry fire extinguishers
15.   Use of pressure washers is prohibited.
Special tests
16.   Two special tests will be available for inspection on foot from 0900 on Friday, both are within walking distance of the start/finish area.
Conditions
17.   Any competitors committing the following will be disqualified:

a.   Any rider not slowing down to a walking pace between blue tapes areas. Blue arrows will used to mark the route if it passes along a footpath or bridleway please take extra care.

b.   Any rider using ‘tear off’ lenses – roll offs are acceptable

18.   Course cutting will not be tolerated, please remember if you go through the tapes on a Special Test you must re-enter at the point you left the course.

19.   All accidents must be reported to the event secretary/Clerk of the Course A.S.A.P. at the signing on trailer

20.   Start times and check allowance will be published Friday evening

Protest and Appeal Procedure – Any protests must be in accordance with Appendix B (P.502) ACU Handbook 2015
